Stephen Berwanger – President/Owner
Stephen started in commercial construction in 1995 and has worked exclusively in the sealant/waterproofing trade. His portfolio includes several industrial construction and commercial construction projects. He was extensively trained on large commercial projects in the Denver area. In 2000 Stephen decided to move to the quieter western slope of Colorado to start a family. After 2 additional years of employment with the Denver based company, Stephen started Summit Sealants in March 2002. His complete dedication to the company, the trade, and customer service allowed him to double the company every year for the first five years. Stephens ongoing commitment to the company and his continuous effort to stay a student of the trade ensures Summit Sealants Inc. future success for many years to come. When not working or spending time with family Stephen is an avid alpinist and ice climber.
Jake Holland – Vice President
Jacob Holland as a Project Management Professional out of CSU has been serving the Colorado Denver area for over 10 years. Specializing in structural restoration and waterproofing systems Jacob is third generation water proofer. Starting as a field tech in 2001 Jacob not only has the education but hands on experience for the day to day needs of the job site and a clear understanding of what it takes to get the job done. During the week Jacob is dedicated to building a sound and watertight future for Summit in the Denver area. On the weekends he can be found in the mountains with his wife and two children snowboarding, Ice climbing, hiking, mountain biking, or just sucking up the summer mountain town festivities after enjoying one of the beautiful Colorado summits!
Leila Lucero – Office Manager
With a strong background in Administrative Support Leila displays the ability to take initiative, and complete projects with professionalism and accountability. Leila is motivated with a unique work ethic, and is dedicated to providing exceptional support to the needs Summit Sealants Inc., and company clients. She is hard-working with a genuine passion to exceed the expectations of others. When not at work, Leila enjoys spending time with her family, running, and horseback riding.
Sharon Archer – AR & Project Coordinator
Sharon comes from an extensive background in office management of commercial general contracting. With 20+ years of experience she has the knowledge to handle all of our project specific office tasks. She is very flexible and eager to take on any new challenge. She has quickly become the “go-to” person in our office. When not at work, Sharon enjoys camping, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Grant Kleeves – Project Engineer
Grant Kleeves has been in the construction industry for 15 years, both on the subcontractor and GC sides of the industry. Starting as an as an apprentice electrician and moving up to running a crew, eventually working up to Superintendent overseeing all trades on large commercial projects all over the United States, Grant has extensive knowledge of the ins and outs of scheduling and coordinating jobs, as well as the field experience to keep jobs running efficiently. When he is not at work Grant will most likely be climbing, bow hunting, and chasing new adventures.
Chris Yoder – Project Engineer
Graduated with Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from MSUD as well as competing as a collegiate soccer player. With a combined 4 years of commercial waterproofing and restoration experience, Chris is familiar with the industries processes. His experience in manufacturing processes, material science, CAD, and mechanicals of materials will be beneficial within the technical side of products and specifications. When not at work, Chris enjoys riding motocross, biking, snowboarding, and hiking.
Crystal Rivera – Administrative Assistant
With previous administrative experience, Crystal plays an integral role here at the Denver office of Summit Sealants. She conveys a good work ethic by being well organized in all project assignments. By working here, Crystal has expanded her knowledge and continues to do so in the restoration and sealant business operations. When not at work, she enjoys her time outdoors camping, bike riding and running with her dog.
