SUMMIT is the first contractor certified to warranty the Carlisle® R2+ System, a continuous insulation that works with air & vapor barriers to provide a total wall system.

Additionally, SI is a preferred installer of the Dupont Thermax system.

SUMMIT’s insulation division has had the honor of working on a wide range of projects in commercial, education, hospitality and more. Our ABAA certified team is highly trained and educated in state-of-the-art applications throughout insulation and firestopping.

Mineral wool’s noncombustible and fire resistant qualities make it an exceptional product when used as a continuous insulation.

When utilized as a part of a compatible system, fluid applied membranes put a stop to air and water leakage.

Spray foam applications include below grade thermal, over damproofing and waterproofing, thermal cavity wall insulation, and exterior continuous insulation.

FIRESTOPPING

We use a variety of techniques to aid in firestopping, including joint firestopping, penetration firestopping, intumescent paint, and mineral wool. SUMMIT’s joint firestopping application is certified and trusted in vital facilities including schools, hospitals and airports. Penetration firestopping prevents room to room spreading by creating a chemical and physical barrier in the small gaps and openings for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sprinkler (MEPS) penetrations. SUMMIT utilizes intumescent paint as a fireproofing method, protecting substrates from potential fire threats in various projects.

As installers of the Dupont XPS System, SUMMIT understands the importance of high quality materials in an environment often presented with freeze/thaw conditions. The technology behind this closed-cell system is not only sustainable, but provides the best possible protection against the elements.
