20th Street Station – Waterproofing Replacement
This newly built facility was experiencing water penetration at the 4th floor parking garage. After investigating the cause of the leaks with a waterproofing consultant, it was deemed necessary to remove all finishes and replace the waterproofing system. SUMMIT used specialty means of access to remove pavers, soil, railings, and façade systems. SUMMIT then replaced the waterproofing system in all planters and plaza locations. Upon successful testing of the waterproofing system, SUMMIT then replaced all the finishes. This project was completed one month ahead of schedule and on budget.
